Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based antifouling coating composition containing decreased amount of volatile organic compounds (VOC) supposed as a causal material for global warming in the antifouling agent, keeping excellent antifouling effect and storage stability for a long period, and having good workability such as drying property. SOLUTION: The water-based antifouling coating composition comprises (A) an aqueous dispersion emulsion of a dialkyl sulfide compound expressed by general formula (I) R1-(S)n-R2(R1and R2are each a 1-20C straight or branched-chain alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1-20) in the binder constitution component of the water-based antifouling coating material.
