Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 2-acylaminoimidazole-4-aldehyde derivative which is useful as an intermediate of a natural material having a 2-aminoimidazole structure such as an oroidin, etc., and its new production intermediate. SOLUTION: This 2-acylaminoimidazole-4-aldehyde derivative is obtained by reacting 3-bromo-1,1-dimethoxypropan-2-one with N-tert-butoxycarbonylguanizine, further reacting with (R3CO)2O or R3COX and then effecting an acid catalyst.
