HAIR COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic having damage-preventing and damage-repairing functions to the hair, providing good tenseness, stiffness and voluminousness, and having excellent styling properties. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic contains a polymer compound providing an aqueous solution having the sol-gel transition temperature higher than 0°C and lower than 37°C as a gel-forming component, and reversibly exhibits water insolubility at a temperature higher than the sol-gel transition temperature as the whole hair cosmetic, and water solubility at a temperature lower than the sol-gel transition temperature. The polymer compound is a block copolymer or a graft copolymer obtained by binding (a) a plurality of polymer parts each having an LCST higher than 0°C and lower than 37°C with (b) a hydrophilic polymer part, and having ≥100,000 molecular weight.
