ELECTRONIC CHECK COLLATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic check collation system sufficiently ensuring the secrecy and reliability of a secret check data. SOLUTION: In the e-tally collation system, a terminal device 103 holds the secret tally data C1 while holding a lock releasing code composed of a trigger code R=(eC1)C2by initialization by a setting server 101 and a control server 102. The public tally data eC2of the secret tally data C2 are recorded to a memory card 104. When the memory card 104 is set to the terminal device 103, the terminal device 103 reads data X corresponding to the public tally data eC2from the memory card 104, and the restore data R'=XC1of the trigger code R are generated by using at least the data X and a first secret tally data C1 in the terminal device. The restore data R' and the trigger code R in the terminal device 103 are collated, and a lock is released when both the restore data and the trigger code coincide in this case.
