SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains a positive electrode 1, a negative electrode 4 and a nonaqueous electrolyte capable of reversibly storing and releasing lithium. The negative electrode 4 is a molded body having a porous conductive base material holding a form of an electrode, a conductive material having a diameter smaller than an average pore diameter of the porous conductive base material, and an alloy or compound including at least one type selected from a group comprising Si and Sn.
