VIDEO LIBRARY MANAGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a library management method and a library management apparatus in which a file is managed by setting a management method by a user thereby increasing at least automatically a holder, and consequently the user can easily search a desired file. SOLUTION: The library management apparatus has basically: a storage part storing a plurality of holders each storing a corresponding file; a holder managing part managing the plurality of holders in the storage part; and a library managing part which manages arrangement of the plurality of holders according to a holder classification table of hierarchical structure through the holder managing part, and increases new holders of low order when the number of respective files in the plurality of holders become a set value or more.
