IMAGE GENERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for generating three-dimensional computer graphic images which can satisfy real-time requirements. SOLUTION: An image generating device generates a scene graph, on the basis of element data of a three-dimensional object forming the three-dimensional image input, and adds drawing priority of the object to nodes, at the same time. When the image generating device outputs element data of respective nodes to the image generating device by scanning the scene graph, the element data only of the nodes, having priority higher than the designated drawing priority, is outputted into the image creating device, and/or an amount of data outputted to the image creating device is counted. Thus, the amount of drawing is restrained and real-time requirements can be satisfied, by not outputting the element data greater than the maximum designated drawing data to the image generating device.
