Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the identification process of target particles based on fission tracks has required a long time period in a conventional method for detecting particles, containing fissionable materials, since it has been difficult to accurately superimpose fission tracks and particles corresponding to them, on each other, due to the complete separation of a fission track detector from a particle layer, when the detector is etched and since deformation has occurred in the detector when the detector is separated from the particle layer for etching. SOLUTION: In the method for detecting particles, containing a trace amount of fissionable materials contained in swipe samples collected inside and outside nuclear facilities by the fission track method, a particle layer, prepared from particles drawn by suction and recovered, is fixed to one end of the fission track detector. By using a dedicated jig when the fission track detector is etched, it is possible to readily and accurately detect the particles that contain the fissionable materials.
