MULTIPLE SHUTTLE LOOM AND SHUTTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple shuttle loom capable of efficiently weaving a finely artistic woven fabric as represented by Nishijin-ori and having excellent design without accompanying large-scale remodeling of a present multiple shuttle loom. SOLUTION: The inner height H of a shuttle-housing space 13 for housing the shuttle S1 of at least one shuttle box N1 in a plurality of shuttle boxes N1, N2, N3... is changed from the inner height K of the shuttle-housing spaces of other shuttle boxes N3 to N10 in the multiple shuttle loom having a shuttle frame 12 wherein the shuttle boxes N1, N2, N3... are accumulated in the right and left of a sley 11. The outer height (h, k) of each shuttle S housed in each shuttle box having different inner height (H, K) of the shuttle-housing space thereof is changed according to the inner height (H, K) of the shuttle-housing space 13. Preferably, the heights L from a bottom plate 16 of the shuttle-housing space to the tip 15 of each shuttle (S1, S2) having different outer height of the shuttle S, striking the pickers 14 are made the same.
