SOLUTION: In the method for dimerizing an aliphatic diisocyanate, one or more aliphatic isocyanates are reacted in the presence of one or more sulfonamide salts represented by formula (I), wherein R1is a perfluoroalkyl group; and Ion+is an organic or inorganic cation.
