SOLUTION: The Return System 1 provides shipment estimate of multi-carriers 4a to 4n, shipment labeling, shipment tracking, shipment tracking management reports, returns analysis and returns management reporting. The Return System 1 has: (1) a Return Manager Subsystem; (2) a Consumer Return Subsystem (also sometimes referred to as a "Customer Return Subsystem"); and (3) a Return Processing Subsystem that, in an exemplary embodiment, provides background shipping and tracking functionality.
