IGNITION DEVICE FOR GAS COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely keep a magnetic solenoid valve in an opened state in an ignition operation by turing an ignition switch off at early timing in an extinction operation. SOLUTION: A switch cam 22 is disposed at an ignition operation shaft 14 longitudinally movably with the ignition operation shaft 14 in a state of being rotated and energized to an extinction operation side with a prescribed amount of play 29 in the rotating direction, the rotation of the switch cam 22 is restricted so that the play is generated only in a direction opposite to an extinction operation side with respect to the ignition operation shaft 14 by a control member 31 at the extinction position of the ignition operation shaft 14, the ignition switch 37 is turned on by the switch cam 22 moving together with the pressed ignition operation shaft 14 in the ignition operation, and the ignition switch 37 is turned off by the switch cam 22 rotated and energized to the extinction position side in advance by the amount of play 29 before the ignition operation shaft 14 reaches the extinction position in the extinction operation.
