Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor of high efficiency and high reliability accumulating little oil sludge. SOLUTION: A gap is formed between a lower end of winding 111 and refrigerator oil 103, and a shield wall 148 is provided between the winding 111 and a vent hole 147. Consequently, the refrigerator oil 103 does not easily sink into a gap in the winding 111 and a gap between the winding 111 and a core 109, extraction of oligomer such as PET (polyethylene terephthalate) used for binding thread 117 and insulating material 123 of a stator 113 is inhibited to cause little oil sludge accumulation at a delivery valve 155 or the like.
