Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation curing type coating suitable for forming a coated film having excellent water resistance, finish properties and good lipid resistance even under room temperature drying conditions. SOLUTION: The oxidation curing type coating is characterized in that the coating comprises an oxidation curing type resin (A) and a shellac resin (B) in a compounding ratio of the shellac resin (B) within the range of 0.5-10 mass% based on the total solid mass of the oxidation curing type resin (A) and the shellac resin (B). An oxidation curing type resin produced by finely dispersing a monomer mixture (I) containing an unsaturated fatty acid-modified polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a), a carboxy group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (b) and other polymerizable unsaturated monomers (c) in an aqueous medium so that the average particle diameter is ≤500 nm and polymerizing the resultant monomer emulsion is suitable as the oxidation curing type resin (A).
