MOUNT FOR PROTECTING EXHIBIT OF COMPLICATED SHAPE FROM EARTHQUAKE OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount for protecting a precious exhibit of a complicated shape from earthquakes or the like. SOLUTION: The mount is so formed that a float 3 having flexibility and extending high into a doughnut shape is fixed to a base, and an electromagnet 19 is disposed under a display base floor at the central part. A magnetic material 21 is placed at a lower part inside the exhibit 14 and a cushion formed of an impact-absorbing material is installed on the upper part of the display base. In occurrence of an earthquake or the like, an earthquake sensor works to move a rotary solenoid 6 and open a nonflammable gas injection valve 5, then instantaneously the nonflammable gas is filled into the float 3, the float is inflated to a prescribed shape, wraps the exhibit and prevents breakage due to mutual contact of exhibits. Power supply from a battery by the work of a power relay excites the electromagnet 19 disposed under the display base floor via the power relay, attracts the magnetic material 21 placed at the lower part inside the exhibit toward the display rack floor along with the exhibit so as to surely protect the exhibit 14 from falling nor moving despite of a large vibration of an earthquake or the like.
