Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recorder capable of exchanging a battery by notifying a user of an appropriate timing of battery exchange without interrupting a recording operation. SOLUTION: The CPU30 of the voice recorder detects or monitors series voltages of batteries 16a and 16b in a battery terminal 26ap, switches a switching contact 44c of a switch 44 to a contact 44b side, and switches the batteries 16a and 16b to a parallel connection by turning on a switch 48.
