POLYESTER COMPOSITION AND POLYESTER MOLDED ARTICLE COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which comprises a thermoplastic polyester using an antimony compound as a catalyst, and a partially aromatic polyamide, prevents an increase in darkness, and is excellent in transparency, flavor retainability, and thermal stability, or in transparency, flavor retainability, thermal stability and gas barrier property, and to provide a polyester molded article comprising the same. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprising 99.9 wt.% of a polyester which contains an antimony compound and whose at least main repeating unit is ethylene terephthalate, and 0.1 to 30 wt.% of a partial aromatic polyamide is characterized in that the content of the antimony atom in the polyester is 100 to 400 ppm; Tc1 of a molded plate prepared by molding the polyester at 290°C is 140 to 170°C; and the content of phosphorus atom in the partial aromatic polyamide satisfies a specific range.
