CONTROL DEVICE OF ROTARY CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a rotary cutter, optionally finely setting a clearance as desired by a user by electrically adjusting a clearance between an upper blade and a lower blade of the rotary cutter, not mechanically. SOLUTION: This control device 10 of the rotary cutter electrically controls the rotation of a rotary cutter 2 for the upper blade and a rotary cutter 3 for the lower blade, not mechanically, so that a difference between a master angle θ1 and a slave angle θ2 agrees with a clearance Δθ set by a clearance setting device 30 in the process of cutting by the rotary cutter 1. Especially the slave side control means controls the rotation of the rotary cutter 3 for the lower blade to follow the rotation of the rotary cutter 2 for the upper blade according to a slave torque command τR2 based on a master torque command τR1.
