Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of providing an image of high resolution and high picture quality with a small false signal while the circuit scale is suppressed small. SOLUTION: An image signal input from an image signal input section 12 is passed through LPFs 14 and 16 having different frequency response characteristics to remove color signal components. A feature quantity calculation section 20 calculates edge quantities, saturation, and hue from peripheral pixels around a pixel of interest and a weighting coefficient calculation section 22 finds a weighting coefficient (k) from the feature quantity calculated by the feature quantity calculation section 20 and their variation quantities. A weighting adder 24 performs weighted addition using the signal of the LPF 14 which passes a high-frequency component, much for an achromatic color part or a chromatic color part which has small saturation and hue variations and uses the signal of the LPF 16 which has a small false signal, much for a chromatic color part which has not small saturation and hue variations according to the weighting coefficient (k) calculated by the weighting coefficient calculation section 22. A horizontal outline correction section 26 receives the output signal of the weighting adder 22 and generates a horizontal outline correction signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
