FIRE ALARM SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm system which detects duplication of the addresses occurring in an normal monitoring mode and then can easily find out terminal devices to which the duplicate address is assigned. SOLUTION: A fire receiver includes a transmission circuit which performs signal transmission with each terminal device on the basis of an address; a control means which recognizes that an error response to a signal repeatedly occurs, assumes an address repeatedly responding in error to be the duplicate address, and displays this duplicate address on a display means; and an addressing means which specifies an address. When the duplicate address displayed on the display means is specified via the addressing means, the control means sends a lighting signal from the transmission circuit in order to light the indicator lights of the terminal devices to which this specified duplicate address is assigned. The terminal device has an indicator-lighting means which receives the lighting signal corresponding to the address assigned to the terminal device, and lights the indicator light.
