BLOOD COLLECTION HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection holder which is adaptable to both one blood collection tube having an opening mounted with a film stopper and another blood collection tube having an opening mounted with a rubber stopper, and brings neither kick back caused by an elastic repulsive force of a rubber sleeve nor breakage of the film stopper to allow blood collection into the blood collection tubes. SOLUTION: The blood collection holder 51 comprises a cylinder body 52 the peripheral surface of which has a first projection 55 and a second projection 56 with an interval apart from each other, wherein the first projection 55 has a side toward the opening 54 on which an stopping surface 55b is formed to project in the direction substantially perpendicular to the peripheral surface of the cylinder body 52; and the second projection 56 has a side toward the opening 54 on which a sloping surface 56b is formed to have a diameter increasing toward the opening 54. When a blood collection tube is inserted into the cylinder body 52 to contact with the first, second projections 55, 56, which then oppose against a repulsive force inward from the periphery of the cylinder body 52 to widen outward from the periphery of the cylinder body 52.
