Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of early stage blackening, swelling, or burst of a light-emitting part due to overheating of an electrode arranged in the vicinity of a sub-reflecting mirror by installing the sub-reflecting mirror in which light emitted from the light-emitting part is made to be reflected so as to be returned to the light-emitting part side in the light-emitting tube of a high pressure discharge lamp integrally mounted with a concave reflecting mirror. SOLUTION: A winding width X1of a coil 4 wound around the electrode axis 3 of the electrode 2R fixed to one of sealing parts 7R at which the sub-reflecting mirror 11 is installed is made smaller than the winding width X2of the coil 4 wound around the electrode axis 3 of the electrode 2L fixed to the other sealing part 7L at which the sub-reflecting mirror 11 is not installed, and the distance Y1between the coil 4 of the electrode 2R and the light-emitting part inner surface of the sealing part 7R side is made larger than the distance Y2between the coil 4 of the electrode 2L and the light-emitting part inner surface of the sealing part 7L side.
