DATA PROCESSOR, DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and in a short period of time confirm erasure of processed data which have been erased. SOLUTION: A data processor is disclosed which stores data to be processed into an HDD as a storage device, performs data processing and then erases the data stored in the HDD. The data processor when confirming the erasure by reading out data in a storage area which should be erased among storage areas in the HDD, confirms erasure of only head sectors (data 1-1, 2-1, and 3-1) of respective data within an erasure confirmation data range. As second erasure confirmation processing, erasure of sectors (data 1-2, 1-3, ..., data 2-2, 2-3, ..., and data 3-2, 3-3, ...) other than head sectors of the respective data is confirmed.
