Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple discharge ignition device capable of simplifying an interface for receiving instructions for energy storage and instructions for multiple discharge to an energy storage means and suitably performing the multiple discharge. SOLUTION: A switching element 14 is on-operated by a switching circuit 24 based on a storage instruction signal IGti and energy is stored in an energy storing coil 12. The energy of the energy storing coil 12 is then discharged through alternating on and off operations of the switching element 14 and a switching element Tri from a down edge of the storage instruction signal IGti to a down edge of a discharge instruction signal IGw.
