CLAMPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device capable of easily increasing pressing load. SOLUTION: In this clamping device 3, a base body 4, a pressing body 5 for pressing a workpiece 2 and a rotated and operated rotating body 6 are relatively rotatable around an axial center 7. The pressing body 5 is rotatable between a first rotating position where the pressing body 5 does not face the workpiece 2 and a second rotating position where the pressing body 5 faces the workpiece 2. The pressing body 5 is movable between a pressing releasing position and a pressing position. When the rotating body 6 is rotated from the one rotating position up to an intermediate rotating position, the pressing body 5 is rotated from the first rotating position up to the second rotating position by being triggered by rotation of the rotating body 6. Continuously, when the rotating body 6 is rotated up to the other rotating position, the pressing body 5 is moved from the pressing releasing position to the pressing position by a cam mechanism 141. The cam mechanism 141 is formed so that the cam surface 142 may be in surface contact with a contact part 143 at this pressing position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
