WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which purifies laundry articles efficiently by preventing infiltration of water into an apparatus of generating gas for purifying the laundry articles. SOLUTION: An inlet tube 43 is constituted so as to extend downward from an ozone generator 42 to be connected with an air duct member 31. Thus, even if dew condensation is formed in the inlet tube 43 by a temperature difference between the inside and outside of the inlet tube 43, water drips generated by the dew condensation is lowered toward the air duct member 31 and prevented from intruding into the ozone generator 42. Even if water foam or detergent foam generated inside an outer tub 7 intrudes into inside of the inlet tube 43 during washing operation and becomes water drips by breaking of the foam, they are lowered toward the air duct member 31 with its dead weight similarly to the water drips made by the dew condensation and prevented from intruding into the ozone generator 42. Thus, the infiltration of water into the ozone generator 42 is prevented to purify the laundry articles efficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
