FOLDING FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding fan that is handy-carrying and can prevent the quality of appearance associated with decoration from deteriorating without causing incremental costs. SOLUTION: A folding fan 11 is provided with a pair of main ribs, 12, 13, several middle ribs 14 which are placed between the main ribs 12, 13 and are relatively thin-walled, a pivot 15 installed penetrating the bottom end part of each of the main ribs 12, 13 and the middle ribs 14, and a bellows reflexing base membrane 16 made of a front sheet 17, a back sheet 18, and a core sheet 19. At least the end section of each of the main ribs 12, 13 is fixed on both sides of the reflexing base membrane 16 and has an unfixed membrane piece 21 and a fixed membrane piece 22 alternately in the middle section. A sheet-like hook 31 is provided at the end part of the fixed membrane piece 22 of the reflexing base membrane 16 at the center. The hook 31 is composed of a hook body 32 and leg parts 33. The leg parts 33 are inserted from the end section and fixed in the gap formed in a way that it divides the core sheet 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
