Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation unit facilitating the formation of a medium allowing a plant to be grown, and also facilitating the disposal of both of a cultivation container and the medium no longer required. SOLUTION: The plant cultivation unit has the paper cultivation container 11 and a cultivation layer 12 for cultivating the plant, formed so as to be able to contain water fed to the cultivation container 11 by storing paper fragments 16 broken to small fragments in the cultivation container 11.
