Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone capable of newly adding functions in addition to programs previously stored in the cellular phone and easily extending the functions of the cellular phone by selecting, specifying and receiving a program having a new function on the basis of a menu received from a supply source computer. SOLUTION: The cellular phone comprises a transmitting/receiving part 11, a display part 19, an input part 18, a first memory for previously stored function programs, a second memory for receiving and storing a function program transmitted from the supply source computer to extend the functions of the cellular phone, and a CPU 16, wherein when the transmitting/receiving part 11 receives a function program for extending the functions, the CPU 16 writes the received function program in the second memory.
