VIDEO REPRODUCTION CONTROL APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction control apparatus which attains a video reproduction suited to a monitor camera. SOLUTION: The video reproduction control apparatus 1 is provided with: an video acquisition means 5 for acquiring video data 3 to be reproduced and video data 2 to be a retrieval reference; a reproduction speed determination means 7 for calculating similarity between the video data 3 to be reproduced and the video data 2 to be the retrieval reference which are acquired by the video acquisition means 5 and determining a reference speed on the basis of the similarity in accordance with a prescribed rule; and a reproduction apparatus connection means 8 for instructing a reproduction apparatus 4 to reproduce the video data 3 to be reproduced which is acquired by the video acquisition means 5 by the reproduction speed determined by the reproduction speed determination means 7.
