Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backward optical pumping semiconductor laser of high output. SOLUTION: The laser comprises a laser chip 30 including an active layer 34 and a distributed Bragg reflector, an external mirror 60 separated from one side of the laser chip at a predetermined distance to form a resonator in combination with the Bragg reflector, an SHG (Secondary Harmonic Generation) crystal 40 placed between the external mirror and the laser chip, and a micro-lens-integrated heat sink 20 attached to the other side of the laser chip to emit heat generated in it and focus pumping light incident on the this side.
