SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT ARRAY, AND ILLUMINATION APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting element array capable of attaining high luminance, and to provide an illumination apparatus using the array. SOLUTION: The semiconductor light emitting element array A includes a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements Ed respectively having an n-GaN layer 2, an active layer 3, and a p-GaN layer 4. The semiconductor light emitting elements Ed are formed on a substrate 1 composed of SiC.
