Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incinerated ash-melting method capable of surely preventing solving-out of hexavalent chromium by minimizing concentration of hexavalent chromium in slag by melting the incinerated ash while keeping trivalent chromium form while reducing harmful hexavalent chromium produced by oxidation of chromium to harmless trivalent chromium in melting the incinerated ash of wastes including heavy metal, in particular, chromium, with a simple process at low running costs without environmental load. SOLUTION: In this incinerated ash-melting method for melting the incinerated ash of wastes Kmin a melting furnace 5 to obtain the molten slag, the incinerated ash is supplied into the melting furnace while adjusting its basicity to 0.6-1.0 by adding a basicity adjusting agent to any one of the wastes Km, an incinerator for incinerating the wastes Kmand the incinerated ash, the incinerated ash after adjustment of basicity, supplied to the melting furnace 5 is heated and molten at 1350°C or higher, and the molten slag of the molten incinerated ash is allowed to flow down in a water cooling device 6 to be quickly cooled.
