INK-JET INK COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet ink composition for color filter free from non-discharging, misdirection, satellite and mist, high in stability to heat and mechanical impacts in producing a printed color filter article by using an ink-jet printing. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the ink-jet ink composition for color filter comprising at least a binder component, a pigment and a solvent, and the composition has more than 1 mPa s of complex viscosity at normal temperature and 1-20 of tangent loss at 10-50 Hz, wherein the binder component comprises 10-55 wt.%. of an acrylic resin with less than 35,000 of a weight average molecular weight and 30-50 wt.%. of a melamine resin with less than 10,000 of a weight average molecular weight and having less than 20 mPa s of initial complex viscosity at normal temperature with less than 10,000 mPa s of maximum in frequency range of 100-0.1 Hz.
