Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 1,3-dioxane derivatives by Prince reaction with an olefin derivative and aldehydes by using a highly active catalyst in which the catalyst is easily separated, recovered and reused. SOLUTION: The method for producing 1,3-dioxane derivative is to use at least one species of Lewis acids selected from compounds expressed by following chemical formulae (1), (2) and (3) as a catalyst: M(OSO2Rf1)n(1); M[N(SO2Rf1)(SO2Rf2)]n(2); M[C(SO2Rf1)(SO2Rf2)(SO2Rf3)]n(3).
