Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-nanotube manufacturing apparatus with a higher recovery efficiency. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a cylindrical catching member 13 disposed over the part where an anode electrode 21 and a cathode electrode 22 generate an arc discharge; the side wall of the cylinder of the catching member 13 is faced to the part where the arc discharge is generated, and when the arc discharge being generated with rotating the catching member 13, and a carbon product being formed, then the carbon product is deposited uniformly on the side of the catching member 13; consequently no deposition on other members such as the inner wall surface of a vacuum vessel 11 and so forth, results in a higher recovery efficiency.
