ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE FOR PRESS MACHINE, AND PRESS MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage device for a press machine which can reduce the fluctuation of a power supply current, and a press machine. SOLUTION: Before a large driving current is supplied to a driving motor 9 when a slide reaches a machining starting position, an energy storage part 24 discharges power until the voltage of the energy storage part 24 reaches zero and electric energy is discharged from the energy storage part 24, and electric current is supplied to a motor control part 17 along a power discharging route C. After the energy storage part 24 completely discharges the power, electric energy equivalent to an insufficient amount of the discharged electric energy is supplied to the motor control part 17 from a main current route B. In consequence, the fluctuation of the driving current to be supplied to the power source during machining operation can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
