DATA/STROBE ENCODING SYSTEM CIRCUIT AND DATA/STROBE ENCODING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data/strobe encoding system circuit and a data/strobe encoding method capable of achieving an inexpensive data/strobe encoding system that does not depend on device characteristics of LSIs and can be designed easily. SOLUTION: The data/strobe encoding system circuit transmits data and strobe signals using separate lines, uses a change in data themselves and that in the strobe signals for latch clocks, and transmits the data to a poststage circuit operated by a different clock. In the data/strobe encoding system circuit, prescribed data are latched by flip flop, and then a signal for indicating that the data are latched and held is paired with the latched data for delivering to the poststage circuit, the assert of a signal for indicating that the data have been received is received from the poststage circuit, and the flip flop that is at halt after latching the data is operated again for receiving new data.
