Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a borer which allows the removed soil produced when drilling a vertical hole in the soil to be put back easily in the vertical hole to fill it without a gap while a plant is inserted in the vertical hole. SOLUTION: The borer 2 has a core shaft 21 with a spiral auger 22, and forms a vertical hole B in the soil S by forcing the core shaft 21 turning around its axis into the soil S. The core shaft 21 has a plurality of crush nails 23 above the spiral auger 22, the crush nails 23 crushing soil blocks that are sent from the spiral auger 22 when the vertical hole B is formed.
