FALL PREVENTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE LIFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing device for a vehicle lift capable of reducing an impact between an engaging claw and a rack when rising, and capable of reducing the impact noise and while reducing abrasion of the engaging claw and the rack. SOLUTION: This fall preventing device 20 for a vehicle lift for supporting a lift with a support part freely to move in the vertical direction consists of the rack 21 provided adjacent to the support section and extended in the vertical direction and an engaging member 22 provided in the support section opposite to the rack so as to be engaged with the rack. The engaging member is provided with the engaging claw 22b extended from an oscillation shaft 22a toward the rack, an arm part 22c extended to a side opposite to the engaging claw 22b, a tensile spring 22d for energizing the arm part downward so that the engaging claw is engaged with gears of the rack, and a stopper 22e for regulating downward oscillation of the arm part.
