PURIFICATION APPARATUS FOR CONTAMINATED SOIL AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification apparatus for contaminated soil and its method, by which purification of contaminated soil is surely accomplished in a short time. SOLUTION: The purification apparatus includes underground water level-lowering means 51 for lowering underground water level in the ground below a contaminated part 91 contaminated with a contaminant, ground-heating means 52 for heating the contaminated part positioned above the underground water level lowered by the underground water level-lowering means to evaporate the contaminant, and contaminant-treating means 53 for treating the contaminant evaporated by the ground-heating means. The underground water level-lowering means 51 is composed of a casing pipe fitted with a strainer, an inner tube having a water passage hole, and a sucking/discharging device for sucking and discharging the underground water. The sucking/discharging device sucks and discharges a gas evaporated by the ground-heating means 52.
