Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thinning scissors improved in combing efficiency because they do not fail to cut but also one combing operation performs two or several step cutting, and at the same time capable of skillfully giving the user a soft feeling. SOLUTION: In a pair of scissors composed of a comb blade 1 having tooth pieces 11 in row and a straight blade 2 facing the comb blade, each tooth piece of the comb blade is provided with a concave cutting edge 15 on one or both sides of its upper end to receive and cut hairs slipping down from a main cutting edge 13 provided at the end. In addition, in a pair of thinning scissors composed of a combing blade and a straight blade pivoted together by means of a shaft, each toothing piece is provided with a stepped cutting edge on one or both sides to receive and cut hairs slipping down from the main cutting edge at a position stepped from the end main cutting edge.
