MONITORING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus capable of surely acquiring video information, such as evidence photos with high resolution, and preventing the capacity of a storage means for storing image information from being consumed unexpectedly. SOLUTION: A moving image camera 11 and a still image camera 12 are connected to a controller 13 for executing image processings, abnormity is detected on the basis of a moving image from the moving image camera 11 for acquiring the image information at all times; and when abnormity is detected, the still image camera 12 captures a still image of high image quality, which is stored in the hard disk of the hard disk drive 23 of the controller 13.
