Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt joint having sufficient strength and durability to prevent the torsion of a belt, and to apply desired belt tension. SOLUTION: Both ends of a toothed belt 2 are held by a pair of holders 3, respectively. A screw member 4 is inserted across both holders 3 and screwed in a belt length direction. The screw member 4 is turned around a center axis to move both holders 3 nearer to each other and away from each other. Belt tension can be applied while connecting both ends of the toothed belt 2. The screw members 4 are juxtaposed in a belt width direction in a plurality of pieces to prevent the mutual rotation of both holders 3 around the screw members 4. Both ends of the toothed belt 2 are connected by one belt joint 1 without causing torsion in the toothed belt 2. The uneven application of a force when using a plurality of belt joints is prevented.
