EXHAUST CONTROL VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the construction of an exhaust control valve disposed inside a finisher provided at an exhaust gas outflow opening of an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: In the exhaust control valve, a valve element 41 of the control valve 36 is arranged inside the finisher 51 of the exhaust pipe 15 and a coil spring 43 for biasing the valve element in a direction of seating it on a valve seat 15a is arranged between the valve element 41 and the a spring holder 55 of the finisher 51. The coil spring 43 can be therefore supported by using the spring holder 55 of the finisher 51 without providing an extra spring support member on a control valve 36 side and the construction of the control valve 36 can be simplified. The spring holder 55 functions also as a stopper for regulating an upper limit of a lift amount of the valve element 41. A cone-shaped guide surface 41b is formed on a front of the valve element 41 and when the valve element 41 moves from a state of being separated from the valve seat 15a to a state of seating on the valve seat 15a, the valve element 41 can be centered by the guide surface 41b and be surely seated on the valve seat 15a.
