Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-purity 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid plate crystals, excellent in filtering separation characteristic by crystallization treatment from 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid-containing reaction water solution. SOLUTION: The method for producing 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid plate crystals comprises cooling a water solution containing 45-60 wt.% 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid from a temperature of ≥60°C to 30°C under stirring of 3,000-20,000 Reynolds number to crystallize 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid.
