Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caking preventing agent capable of stably and sufficiently preventing the caking of water granulated blast furnace slag or the like through a long period without being affected by the fluctuation of the quality or properties of the water granulated blast furnace slag or the like. SOLUTION: The caking preventing agent of the water granulated blast furnace slag or the like contains 30-99 mass% component A and 70-1 mass% component B, wherein total of the component A and the component B is 100 mass%. The component A is at least one selected from an acrylic acid based high polymers and its alkali metal salts having weight average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000. The component B is at least one selected from phosphoric acid, sodium phosphate, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, tripolyphoric acid and sodium tripolyphosphate.
