SUSPENDED TRANSPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended transport device having high safety and restricted in propelling force for suspended-transportation in a curve besides suspended-transportation in a straight line. SOLUTION: The suspended transport device is provided with: a travelling carriage 2 provided with a driving wheel 3 travelling along a rail 1 stretched over and a driving motor 4 for the same; and a transported article loading gondola 5 to be moved with the travelling carriage. The travelling carriage and the gondola are suspended from the rail for support by separate suspenders 12 and 13 having idling wheels, and the travelling carriage and the gondola are connected to each other by a bending connector. The suspender 12 with an idling wheel for the travelling carriage is rotatably structured around a vertical shaft center in relation to a carriage main body 14, and the suspender 13 with an idling wheel for the gondola is rotatably structured around a vertical shaft center in relation to a gondola support 7a so that the driving wheel 3 of the travelling carriage is rotated, while it is brought in pressure-contact with the lower surface of the rail.
