DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC TRACTION TENSIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently install a TTB (automatic electric traction tensioner) in a tunnel. SOLUTION: This device is equipped on a vehicle to mount the TTB on a receiving metal fitting on the tunnel ceiling just above an existing electric traction. The device is constituted of an elevating base mounted with the TTB to carry the TTB at a mounting position with the receiving metal fitting, and a temporarily receiving device constituted of a frame member to expandably connect a pair of arms via a pair of hydraulic cylinders and removably mounted on the elevating base via a supporting rod for temporarily receiving the existing electric traction removed with replacement parts to mount the TTB at the time of mounting the TTB and securing a TTB passing space up to the tunnel ceiling mounted with the TTB. When mounting the TTB on the existing electric traction, the replacement parts are removed to mount the TTB, the existing electric traction is temporarily received at a temporarily receiving position, and the TTB is lifted by the elevating base though a space of a center part of the frame member of the temporarily receiving device made by removing the replacement parts.
