CRUSHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher capable of suppressing a reduction in waste material treatment efficiency without totally requiring stopping of an apparatus body even when a foreign matter is mixed. SOLUTION: The crusher 1 is provided with a casing 2 thrown with an object to be crushed, a rotation type hammer 12 stored at the inside and crushing the thrown object to be crushed, a screen 6 having a slit hole 6a for discharging crushed pieces after crushing and discharging the crushed pieces outside of the casing 2 through the slit hole 6a, an opening 15 having a larger opening area than the slit hole 6a and communicating with the inside and the outside of the casing 2, and a gate 16 capable of opening/closing the opening 15 during rotation of the hammer 12 and discharging the foreign matter thrown with the object to be crushed.
